Welcome to Sinatra Central.
Hank Sinatra plays guitar and sings around Louisville. He moved from Los Angeles in 1984 and has played everywhere twice. Some of the acts Hank has appeared with include The Replacements, Camper Van Beethoven, Eddie Money, The Outfield, Quiet Riot, Government Cheese, Love Tractor, Rick Derringer, Dr. John, The Smithereens, The Hooters and Redbone. According to the legend, he is the product of a one-time encounter between Nancy and Merv. It was the last time Merv had relations with a female. The real story involves a juxtaposition ala Elvis Costello. Other influences; The Band, Paul Westerberg, Gram Parsons, Neil Young, Warren Zevon, Tom Petty, Lou Reed. He often plays gigs with Kate, a great singer. Their set lists include Fleetwood Mac, The Cranberries, Sheryl Crow, 10,000 Maniacs, Liz Phair. Tommy and Hank shows have to be seen to really grasp some understanding of what they do. |
